Success Story Of Mr. Kumar

 

Kumar had polio from the age of 1. Both his Father and Mother are working as a daily wages agricultural laborers, he has 2 siblings, first one is studying BA 1st year and second is assisting parents. Awaiting for his S.S.L.C Marks Card, Kumar came to Alamba with reference from an organization. As per his acknowledged information he was 18, so we impacted him for the Training.

His disability: He was suffering from impairment in leg; because of this we introduced walker to him. We at Alamba counseled and made him use crutches. It was very tough for him, but Alamba gave its immense efforts in boosting his confidence levels. We promised him that if he would use crutches successfully we would show an appropriate job for him. Parallel to this Kumar was in PANKH Training program, by mid of training he received his SSLC marks sheet. We figured out his age as 17years according to his Marks sheet and eligibility criteria says that he should complete 18. Unfortunately, he was out from training program, we asked him to come after 10 months.

Later he joined 5th batch of PANKH Training, he completed training with due determination, made him strong to achieve job. PANKH arranged interview at Sangeetha Mobiles,he cracked it and was designated as casher for a pay of Rs.9,500/-.

Every day he used to struggle in Bus for the job, with crutches and it was very tough for him but its his aim with an intention in helping parents. In his fight with destiny as well as society, he completed 1.5 years and received many applauds from his home town. He fulfilled his father dreams by constructing a house.

By this time he was hurdled with few more responsibilities at job place Sangeetha Mobile, so he got new Activa-3g bike with alteration to put his efficienct time in work. But suddenly Company’s expectations got increased from employees. Company manager figured out his disability- he cannot move around, carry stock and other issue so they asked him to quit the job. “You are not able” -This is gift given by people for Disability.

By this time he got little more responsible at job place Sangeetha Mobile, so he got new Activa-3g bike with alteration to increase the efficiency at job place , to attend like in charge for other store handling big responsibility, he was so happy also colleagues, but suddenly some development happened managers updated since he is with disability he cannot move around, carry stock and other issue so they asked him to not come for the job. “You are not able -This is gift for Disability” very sad.

We consoled him, gave him some other reference in job, he got new offer in online SBI cash transferring agency as cashier. Today he is earning 10,500/-. Kumar was able to fulfill his commitments of bike and parents and brother’s education. Hence proved “Everything happens for a good reason”.
